Middle age men oh my
What on earth is happening, am enjoying a quiet brew at my local until I realize I’m surrounded by a lot of middle age guys in heavy metal shirts.. let’s google: “why is middle age men converging in Prague today in my local pub”. Aaaaahhh… Guns N Roses are in town.
Man, I loved them before the fat Axl period 😆
My fav by far is always going to be Welcome to the jungle..
So Eurovision time tomorrow 🎶🎶
I’m a happy watcher of this dreadful competition in Europe called the Eurovision. This is when all the European countries including Australia (don’t ask me why but appearantly they love it so they are in) are singing their asses off. It’s a fun, sometimes cringeworthy, extremely kitch and sometimes dreadful but never ever boring competition. I got my outfit sorted so am ready to sparkle. 😆
And just to give u a glimpse on how great it can be, honestly I loved this entry from Ukraine.
Music videos that made me go wow
Iggy Azalea – Mo Bounce
Now this is almost soft porn. So many butts shaking. I’m bouncing away…
And my oh my Gorillaz is back,
Gorillaz – Saturnz Barz (Spirit House)”
Neneh Cherry – I’ve Got You Under My Skin
We do have black artists in Sweden and this girl is my all time favourite especially with this song. Listen to the lyrics, just amazing.
Neneh Mariann Karlsson (born 10 March 1964), better known as Neneh Cherry, is a Swedish singer-songwriter, rapper, and occasional DJ and broadcaster.
And her brother is also amazingly good.
Eagle-Eye Lanoo Cherry (born 7 May 1969) is a Swedish musician best known for the single “Save Tonight“.
Same as before, listen to the lyrics. Aaahhh..
Stevie Wonder – I Just Called To Say I Love You
I love this one. Oki I love all off Stevie Wonders song. Superb artist, composer and seems like a damn nice guy as seen on the carpool with James Corden.
George I will miss u – u made me score 😆
I gotta be honest I was not going to do a tribute to George Michael but the more I read around the Web the more I realised I was in error. He was part of my childhood with Wham and part of my disco dancing when I was in puberty. Yes, he helped me score with his Freedom song when i was young. Thanks George.
But one thing about him was that he never apologised for the things he did, yes he did it in the toilet and got caught but he was never apologetic about it and yes he went cruising but he never said sorry. He stood up for it. Cudos for that.
So I gotta admit that I’m slightly in awe of that. But damn you George and Wham for Last Christmas. I love the song but after 20 repeats on the music channel, I’m ready to kill myself 😆
But this is a great song with Elton John.
Thanks George for the music.
Xmas carols at Florenc, Prague
I loved this, had an awful day at work and was greeted by music when I was going home…
Habits – Vintage 1930’s Jazz Tove Lo Cover ft. Haley Reinhar
A good take on the original which I fucking love:
Twisted Sister — We’re Not Gonna Take it
I so remember watching this on MTV when they used to play music, day after I got the album. Ohh those were the days.
And the great I wanna rock
Sir Roderick
A tad late to post this but about time he got to be a Sir. Damn the man is a true icon and he still keeps hair as it always been which is an achievement in itself. 😆
