Silly personal saturday stuff
Ok, been a couple of interesting days. Had one of those weeks when the company wants you to meet your suppliers (yawn). But for once it actually paid off going to one of these things, won two nights at a 5 star hotel close to St Andrews. Now this is brilliant and I even get to play 18 holes on the St Andrews course, now I just need to learn how to play golf
.
Since it was Saturday I thought I bugger off towards central London and do some mindless shopping. Was meaning to go to Charing Cross and look for some cool vintage postcards but ended up going to Camden instead. To my bliss I found some Tintin album and a new comic book which I seem to have missed out on, The boys. Now this is a must read for everyone. It’s about a messed up society with the superheroes in the middle of it and this little group of people trying to keep them in check (well, mostly by killing them off to be honest). But it’s a splendid take on the superhero frenzy and the what-if superheroes are just plain normal jerks as the rest of us. Btw, as you can see on the picture there is a pen as well. This is a slight perversion of me, if I go into a store and they have a slightly ok pen, I HAVE TO BUY IT… I just can’t help it, so am trying to stay away from shops with pens.
And to finish it off, am learning Spanish at the moment which reminded me of this superb sketch from Eddie Izzard about the silly words you have to learn in a foreign language which you will never, ever use.
and actually if you come this far down on the post, might as well enjoy some nudity (about bloody time) …
Just a mix of photos/links and reblogs…
Some nice links and photos I have found out there:

I’ve run across a fair number of really good rants in my time, and I’d like to think that I’ve written a few good ones here and there myself, but this animated version of Tim Minchin’s “Storm” I found over on the Metousiosis blog has got to rank amongst the best of all time!
Great video, check it out at I Want Icewater
Ran across this and thought to myself “Yep…I wanna be there” so I figured I’d share it with you. This is a 4 minute video excerpt of the D20 burlesque show, a Dungeons and Dragons themed naughtiness that makes nerds pants explode like a waking dead plague…
Read more at Blacksheep Codex and also to watch the video of this D&D Burlesque show.

Suicide girls comic book art
Do you enjoy tattooed nudie ladies being "alternatively sassy"? Sure ya do… why not. Well, now you can see all the suicide girls in prancing around to some sort of fantastical story-line in nerdalicious comic book fashion.
"Suicidegirls pits an awesome gang of beautiful, tattooed, ladies against the deranged leader of a techno-religious cult, with lots of butt-kicking and witty banter."

I am Jack’s Calvin and Hobbes
Massive fan of Calvin and Hobbes and while maybe Hobbes is not as badass as Durden, this is still a great mashup between Fight Club and Calvin/Hobbes.

All and nothing saturday blog
[tweetmeme source="erotixx" only_single=false] Hello all, hope everything is ok out there in cyberspace, have been missing in action due to the football world cup, my free time have been spent with a six pack beer and the telly to my flatmates disgruntled dislike, she doesn’t understand the religion of football 🙂 But thought I get one huge post up before the games starts again in 4 hours.
It’s a shame that the real players don’t look like them above…
this is the girl we would like to play games with, no?
For the comic geeks, probably the most famous asses around…
I do like this one, kinda cool coming from an ad of McDonald.
Kinky Spidey, I knew there was some good use u could do with that web via Dearboy

and for last post, the new Tom Petty video, great song.
Ok back to the store to stock up on beer and snacks, could maybe be good to see the outside world again 🙂
RIP Peter O’Donnell Creator of Modesty Blaise
[tweetmeme source="erotixx" only_single=false] Peter O’Donnell, creator of seductive crime fighter Modesty Blaise, died at the weekend aged 90.
O’Donnell’s catsuit-wearing Modesty, who fought a host of villains with her sidekick Willie Garvin, first appeared as a daily strip in the Evening Standard in 1963. The strips ran for almost 40 years, with O’Donnell also writing a series of novels starring his ass-kicking heroine, dubbed the "high priestess of pulp crime".
With fans including Neil Gaiman and Quentin Tarantino, O’Donnell revealed on his website that the proudest moment of his career was a letter he received from Kingsley Amis, in which the Lucky Jim author thanked and congratulated him for the Modesty Blaise books. "They are endlessly fascinating," wrote Amis. "I read them all for the second time recently when laid low by a very depressing bout of flu, and I’m sure they did quite as much as the doctor did to put me on my feet again."
This was my favourite comic when I was a kid and still have loads of the magazines around to read, great spy and thriller reading. Thank you so much Mr O’Donnell for all the happiness you have given me…

Sexy heroines/Villains – Emma Frost
[tweetmeme source="erotixx" only_single=false]
Emma Grace Frost is a fictional character that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #129 (January 1980), and was created by writer Chris Claremont and artist/co-writer John Byrne.
An urbane, mutant telepath with a well-noted dry wit initially known as the White Queen (complete with revealing white attire for which she is known), Frost has changed from one of the X-Men’s foes to one of their members.
Sexy heroines/Villains – Harley Quinn
Harley Quinn (Dr. Harleen Quinzel) is a fictional character, a supervillainess, in the animated series Batman: The Animated Series, later adapted into DC Comics’ Batman comic books. As suggested by her name (a play on the word "harlequin"), she is clad in the manner of a traditional harlequin jester. The character is a frequent accomplice and would-be-girlfriend of Batman‘s nemesis the Joker, and is also a close ally of supervillainess Poison Ivy.
Mandy, Sweet sexy comic girl
Dean Yeagle is an accomplished animator, most likely best known for his character ‘Mandy’, who has frequented the pages of Playboy Magazine.
As a young Disney fan, Yeagle set his sights on becoming an animator for Disney around the age of 10. During this time he often drew Disney characters, but later began to develop his own.
After graduating from High School, Yeagle went to art school, leaving after a year. He began his animation career in a small studio in Philadelphia, PA with a summer job, giving him his first taste of the industry. He served four years in the Navy during the Vietnam era, and later worked for Jack Zander (who once animated Tom and Jerry cartoons for MGM) in Zander’s Animation Parlour, New York.
Seven years after starting at Zander’s Animation Parlour, Yeagle began freelancing, working for most of the New York animation studios before starting his own – Caged Beagle Productions – in 1986 with Nancy Beiman. Caged Beagle produces TV commercials, CD-ROMs, sub-contracts or consults on features and character design.
Sexy comic heroines
5. DANGER GIRL
Dangergirl is a sexy, sexy heroine and doesn’t have any superpowers but she is a superspy so she is allowed here. 🙂
The tone of Danger Girl falls somewhere between a wry pastiche and loving celebration of all things ‘spy’ – at once ultra-cool, and uber-camp, spectacular and cliche, tantalisingly sexy and good clean fun. The stylised, gorgeously colorful pages positively ooze action, and the cinamatic layout draws you the delightfully exciting and improbable world of Abbey Chase, renowned explorer and rogue.
4. CATWOMAN
Catwoman is just such an iconic sexy comic hero.
3. POWERGIRL
Just one word, hubbahubba… maybe her assets is a little bit over the top but I like it…
2. STORM
Storm was my dream when I started reading X-MEN,
just a stunner through and through.
1. HARLEY QUINN
Harley Quinn is my favourite of all sexy comic girls,
she’s just stunning plus also completely loony.
Last but not least, Harley Quinn… sexy, crazy chick – what else can u ask for 🙂
