Misty Mundae
Erin Brown (born October 16, 1979 in Illinois, USA) is an actress, model, and film director. Her "trademark" appearance is her pronounced "naturalness" or lack of affectation, both in acting style and appearance. Soft porn favourite of mine and she has done quite a lot of ’em…

Cassandra Peterson aka Elvira
If you are blogging around you probably seen her in quite a few posts at Vera Roberts, click here for those posts.
Cassandra Peterson, Elvira’s alter ego, was born in Manhattan, Kansas, and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She remembers always being a fan of Ann-Margret. Since Cassandra saw her in Love in Las Vegas (1964), she wanted to be a dancer. Just days after graduating from high school, Cassandra traveled to Las Vegas where, at the age of 17, she became the youngest showgirl in Las Vegas history. When Elvis Presley saw her perform he encouraged her to pursue a singing career. She toured Europe extensively as lead singer for an Italian rock band. She settled in Rome, where she became fluent in Italian. Here Cassandra met Federico Fellini, who cast her in his classic film, Roma (1972). Returning to the US, Cassandra formed her own nightclub review, "Mama’s Boys", which toured the national club circuit. In the late 1970s she joined the satiric improvisational troupe, The Groundlings, which also produced such stars as Paul Reubens (aka "Pee Wee Herman"). There she honed her now renowned comedic skills as both a writer and performer. Film and television appearances such as Cheech & Chong’s Next Movie (1980) and others followed, but Cassandra was just the typical struggling actress and spent years wondering where her next meal was coming from. It was the fall of 1981, with the birth of her character, Elvira, that it all changed. While she has since played herself in many film and television shows, Cassandra Peterson ultimately combines her numerous talents into an intriguing persona which has not only become a Halloween icon, but a "vamp" for all seasons.

I so love this picture of her as normal, she is just so sexy.
Heather Lagenkamp from Nightmare on Elm Street
Heather Langenkamp (born July 17, 1964) is an American film and television actress. She is best known for her part as Nancy Thompson from the A Nightmare on Elm Street films. In 2010, she and many other of the Nightmare series alumni appeared in the documentary Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy.
Such a brilliant movie, I even bought the gloves from the states, was my pride and joy for a while and they are somewhere in a box in the attic waiting…
This is just such filthy phone sex, I love it 🙂
And since Johnny Depp was also in the movie, he does deserve a little picture here as well.
Soledad Miranda
Soledad Miranda was an actress who was born in Seville, Spain. She frequently starred in the films of Jess Franco, such as Count Dracula and Vampyros Lesbos. It’s such a shame that she passed away so young and she is more famous now than when she actually was alive, that always sucks.

The Mummy (1932) and (1959)
Remember I was scared shitless when I saw this as a kid, still is a really good horror flick.
Jennifer Jason Leigh
I remember seeing Jennifer in The Hitcher (1986) and was in love instantly. Such a great role and such a scary movie (thanks to Rutger Hauer no hitchhikers is getting into my car, unless they are wearing miniskirt and is of the female persuasion).
Horror creds: Eyes of a Stranger (1981), Flesh+Blood (1985), The Hitcher (1986), Sister, Sister (1987), Heart of Midnight (1988), Buried Alive (1990), Dolores Claiborne (1995), eXistenZ (1999), Spawn (1999-TV Series), Spawn 3: Ultimate Battle (1999), The Machinist (2004), The Jacket (2005)
Sigourney Weaver
Well, gotta have Sigourney Weaver here in the scream queens lists or more kick-ass of horror girl list. I still claim that Alien is a horror movie and she is just to damn good in that one.

Ingrid Pitt – Scream queens
One of the loveliest Hammer girls, Ingrid Pitt (born 21 November 1937) is an actress best known for her work in horror films of the 1960s and 1970s. It was her work with Hammer Film Productions that elevated her to cult figure status.
Horror creds: Sound of Horror (1964), The Omegans (1968), The Vampire Lovers (1970), Countess Dracula (1971), The House That Dripped Blood (1971), Nobody Ordered Love (1972), Doctor Who (1972/1984-TV Series): "The Time Monster" & "Warriors of the Deep" episodes, The Wicker Man (1973), Thriller (1975-TV Series): "Where the Action Is" episode, Artemis 81 (1981), Transmutations (1985), Flesh and Blood: The Hammer Heritage of Horror (1994), The Asylum (2000), Bride of Monster Mania (2000), Green Fingers (2000) short film, Urban Gothic (2000-TV Series): "Vampirology" episode, Dominator (2003), Minotaur (2006), Beyond the Rave (2008), Sea of Dust (2008)

Blacula trailer (1972)
I so love these really awful horror flicks. Blacula is the story of Manuwalde, an African Prince. In 1780, after visiting Count Dracula, Manuwalde is turned into a vampire and locked in a coffin.. The scene shifts to 1972, when two antique collectors transport the coffin to Los Angeles. The two men open the coffin and unleash Blacula on the city of Los Angeles. Blacula soon finds Tina, who is his wife, Luva, reincarnated, and gains her love. Tina’s friend, Dr. Gordon, discovers Blacula is a vampire and hunts him down.
Jennifer Tilly
Sexy Jennifer Tilly is by turns funny, compassionate, compelling and often all at once. She successfully cultivated a fan base with the revitalization of the "Child’s Play" horror comedy franchise. For Bride of Chucky (1998), the filmmakers turned to Jennifer to create the character who would spark the series in a new direction. She established a new horror icon in Tiffany. And to top it off she is quite an amazing poker player, I would forget my cards quickly if she was sitting at the same table as me.
Scare Cred: Remote Control (1988), High Spirits (1988), Embrace of the Vampire (1995), Bride of Chucky (1998), Monsters, Inc. (2001), The Haunted Mansion (2003), Jericho Mansions (2003), Seed of Chucky (2004), Tideland (2005), The Initiation of Sarah (2006), The Caretaker (2008)
but honestly, could you keep your eyes on the cards with her at the same table?
Let Horror month commence
Ok, so it’s soon Halloween time, not a special event really for me except for one thing, there are more horror movies on TV. I’m a huge fan of horror movies ever since a little boy in Sweden when I first saw Jason chopping up unsuspected silly teenagers in the woods in Friday the 13th no 2. Since then my life changed, I went through all the horror movies I could get hold of, Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13 1,2,3,4,5 etc (I know they are shit but they are good shit..>), Razorback (man, that was a brilliant movie, Basketcase (really freaky movie) and so on… all the classic Hammer ones with lovely Christopher Lee (btw, read his autobiography, it’s so brilliant), Peter Cushing and Vincent Price went through my VCR for diligent watching.
I remember skipping school and cycling back with my mates for 2 hours to my house (yes, I lived in the woods) after renting Evil Dead to watch it. Sam Raimi was my god from that moment on and living in Brighton I got to see Brain Dead for the 1st time by Peter Jackson, one of the most bizarre movies but oh so fun, well ok my landlady didn’t agree completely…
I subscribed to the biggest gorefest magazine Fangoria so every month I could get advance warning of all the movies I had to see, my mom and dad really did wonder what was becoming of me.
So to celebrate the soon-to-come Halloween, will have more posts about Scream Queens, great horror movies you JUST have to watch and of course the normal pinups this month.
Hope you will enjoy and stay scared…
