Guestblog: Book loving
Love books, the smell and the feeling of the paper. Having a nice cup of coffee and my book is pure heaven for me. I do love my kindle as well but that doesn’t stop me from entering 2ndhand bookshops yo find some great new finds.
So of course I have quite a few book bloggers I follow.

And now for the hot librarians
Today…
What I did today…
Woke up 6.30am, beautiful weather outside, sun and more sun.
Made coffee, placed my ass on the porch and sipped coffee and smoked a cigarette.
Went inside and read blogs, found the blog post of the beautiful Milfee which made me gasp and in need of clean hankies
Took my book out (re-reading Robert Jordans Dragon Reborn series) and ventured outside. Had a cup of coffee and a cigarette by the canal where I live. Read some more and enjoyed watching people strolling by. Paid my coffee, doesn’t it feel good when people actually allow you to drink your coffee without having to pay for it first, makes me believe in human kind again.
Walked by the canal and sat down on a parkbench. And just sat there for one hour, doing nothing but just enjoying the peace and quiet. What a perfect day.
Am now ready to venture out to London town to the bustle and rush but will be quite good, have to see some hotel, been there before but it has such an amazing view of London and St Paul Cathedral from their roof terrace. Last time I was there I was enjoying a lot of wine/whisky/beer and think I might have had some food even (nuts…).
<< Yes thats me enjoying the beer and whisky in one go…
LIFE IS GREAT ON A SUNDAY!
Hope you all had a great weekend and that it continues today.
The composites – cool book site
As a book freak, love reading and of course your own imagination has to come up with the idea on how a character looks like from the description in the book. Loved this new site that is using law enforcement composite sketch software to show how the literary characters would really look like.
That Edward Rochester from Jayne Eyre actually turned out to be slightly ugly but now I’m just waiting for some of the sexy gals I have been reading about coming up on this site.
Stuck in a book (reblog)
Reading While Walking
I loved this article which showed me that I was not alone doing this. I love reading my book while walking, you will never see me without an book I can promise you that. On my walk to the tube station (25 minutes) I can get through quite a lot of pages while managing to duck the obstacles that one does come across, mainly other people or streetlamps. But it doesn’t always works, I have managed to find myself once or twice hitting my head quite good while walking into streetlamps. So I hope there are others who are like me as well… Read on guys and girls…

The above one doesn’t really have anything to do with readwalking but it is a good picture though…
Use your imagination (reblog)
Such a great and awesome painting to realise that you need to READ BOOKS… expand your imagination. Am a bookophile myself, go through usually 2 books a week on various things. On my train journey to work I got fantasy/sci-fi/thrillers which is excellent to start the day with and at home I usually have some biographies (at the moment reading Ozzy Osbournes, quite brilliant book actually…). So go on guys and girls, read on… Thanks to @caliwinter who posted this on his blog.
And what I’m reading now is Stephen Kings ‘Under the dome’, seems promising…
